Give yourself permission to stop – it could be the best thing you can do.

Yes, really. Stopping, relaxing, forgetting the world for a while, might be just what you need to come back stronger.

Ask yourself… have you got a checklist? Things you need to get done before bedtime? Promises you've made that you must keep? Deadlines to meet? Are you capable of stopping? Then think about that time a meeting was cancelled, or it rained so you couldn't go to your event, or you were freed from a commitment. How good was that?

Be kind to yourself; make it happen. Take a breather. The most productive thing you can do sometimes is absolutely nothing. You'll bounce back stronger for it. Who knows what you'll come up with when you are fully rested and charged again!
